Illinois Fundraising Registration Requirements
Illinois law requires that charitable organizations and institutions that solicit contributions in or from this state register with the Charitable Trust Bureau. The Illinois law governing charity registration is found in Ch. 805 ILCS Sec. 105; Ch. 225 ILCS Sec. 460.
To register in Illinois:
Complete the CO-1 Registration Statement and mail to:

Requirements: Governing Documents, IRS Form 990 and Financial Statement
Annual Renewal: Yes
Annual Renewal Fee: $15

Illinois offers Educational and Religious Exemptions.
