Georgia Fundraising Registration Requirements
Georgia law requires that charitable organizations and institutions that solicit contributions in or from this state register with the Secretary of State Office. The Georgia law governing charity registration is found in O.C.G.A. § 43-17-5(c); Georgia Code Title 14, Ch. 3.
To register in Georgia:
Complete Form C100 and mail to:

Initial Filing Fee: $35
Requirements: Governing Documents, IRS Form 990 and Financial Statement
Renewal Required?: Yes, the registration must be renewed every two years
Annual Renewal Fee: $20
Extension Available: Yes
Does charitable registration require Corporate Registration: No
Does charitable registration require a Registered Agent: No
Georgia offers Educational and Religious Exemptions.
