Help Your Local Food Bank

PLEASE HELP YOUR LOCAL FOOD BANK.

Here at Labyrinth, Inc. we are privileged to handle charitable registrations for thousands of charitable organizations. Their work in improving lives and healing our planet inspires us every day. In the midst of this pandemic, their charitable work is even more needed than ever.

Even with the ‘stay at home’ and ‘social distancing’ still in effect, charities such as ‘The North County Food Bank’, ‘The Maryland Food Bank’ and ‘The San Diego Rescue Mission’ and food banks across the country remain committed to keeping critical food resources moving to people who depend on them.

Our food banks face unique challenges right now such as:

  • Food shortages. Food normally donated by grocery stores, farms and supermarkets have dropped significantly. Supermarket shelves are empty etc.
  • Charities who normally prepare meals and serve them in place have had to adapt to social distancing by delivering food directly to those in need.
  • A drop in the number of volunteers needed to pack and deliver food makes an already difficult situation even more challenging.

In response to the COVID-19 Response Fund, the national fundraising effort to support people facing hunger and the food banks that help sustain them, Labyrinth, Inc. and its employees will be donating over $4,000 to local food banks. Some of our staff are already volunteering to help. No one should go to bed hungry! Please support your local food bank.
