Alaska is planning to switch to an online charitable solicitation registration system in 2019. Previously they had used paper forms for their charity state registration requirement. This new filing system would be implemented and made mandatory prior to the September 1, 2019 due date for the Alaska filing. Multiple states have planned to roll out an online system, but have had to backtrack on these plans as the system ended up not being ready in time. Thus there is always a chance that Alaska will not be able to have their online registration system in place by next year’s filing deadline.
