Arizona Bingo License

Initial Registration

Form:

Form 10331: Application for Bingo License Packet

Agency Fee:

$10 for a class A license, $50 for a class B license, and $200 for a class C license.

Notes:

Organizations should apply for a Class A license if they do not expect to exceed $15,600 in gross receipts from bingo, a Class B license if they do not expect to exceed $300,000 in gross receipts, or a Class C license if gross receipts are expected to be more than $300,000. In addition to the state level license, charities must also submit a form and fee to the local governing body where the bingo event will take place.

Arizona Charitable Gift Annuity Registration

Not required



Charitable Gift Annuity licensure is not required on the State level in Arizona.

No filing is required, but charities need to meet certain conditions before issuing charitable gift annuities. In order to enter charitable gift annuity agreements, a charity must qualify under section 501(c)(3) or 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code. In addition, charities must have: "1. A minimum of three hundred thousand dollars in unrestricted cash, cash equivalents or publicly traded securities, exclusive of assets funding the charitable gift annuity agreement. 2. Been in continuous operation for at least three years or is a successor or affiliate of a charitable organization that has been in continuous operation for at least three years. 3. Had an annual audit of its operations conducted by an independent certified public accountant for the past two fiscal years."

Arizona Charitable Solicitation Registration

Not required



Charitable Registration licensure is not required on the State level in Arizona.

  • As of September 13, 2013, Arizona no longer requires charitable solicitation fundraising registration or renewal for most charities.
  • Some veteran's groups may be required to register with the secretary of state.
  • Some Arizona counties and municipalities may require charities that solicit in-person to register prior to fundraising.

Individual Licenses

Arizona Individual Professional Fundraiser Registration

Not required



Professional Solicitor licensure is not required on the State level in Arizona.

Solicitors who are not employed by a professional fundraising firm but operate independently may be required to register. Employees of professional fundraising firms are generally not required to register as an individual solicitor in Arizona.
