Domestic Applicants:
1. File entity formation documents with the Nevada Secretary of State.
2. Submit a Charitable Solicitation Registration Statement in conjunction with your initial list of officers filing to the Nevada Secretary of State.
Foreign Applicants:
1. Determine whether or not your charity will need to foreign qualify based on your activity in Nevada. If not required, skip to number 3.
2. File foreign qualification documents with the Nevada Secretary of State.
3. Submit a Charitable Solicitation Registration Statement in conjunction with your initial list of officers filing to the Nevada Secretary of State.

Nevada Commercial Co-Venturer Registration
NOT REQUIRED
Commercial Co-venturer licensure is not required on the State level in Nevada.

Nevada Fundraising Counsel Registration

Fundraising Counsel licensure is not required on the State level in Nevada.

Professional Fundraiser licensure is not required on the State level in Nevada.

Nevada Individual Professional Fundraiser Registration
NOT REQUIRED
Professional Solicitor licensure is not required on the State level in Nevada.
Solicitors who are not employed by a professional fundraising firm but operate independently may be required to register. Employees of professional fundraising firms are generally not required to register as an individual solicitor in Nevada.

Nevada Charitable Gift Annuity Registration
Agency: Nevada Division of Insurance
Law: NRS § 688A.281 through NRS § 688A.285
Organization Age Requirement: 3 years of continuous existence immediately preceding licensure.
Minimum Unrestricted Cash or Cash Equivalent Requirement: $300,000
Initial Registration
Notes: Nevada charities must provide notice within 90 days of when they first enter into a charitable gift annuity agreement. Notices must identify the organization, certify that the organization is a charity and that the annuities issued are qualified charitable gift annuities, and be signed by an officer or director.
