IRS 990 Schedule B Required With State Fundraising Registration
In the beginning of July, Florida’s began requiring nonprofits to include the Schedule B with the IRS Form 990’s that are filed in the state as part of Florida’s annual registration to solicit contributions. Prior to the that the Schedule B, and the sensitive donor data that is contained was optional. Florida is now the third state to begin asking for the IRS Schedule B. The other states are New York and California which began requiring this data over the past two years.
