Florida Fundraising Registration Requirements
Florida law requires that charitable organizations and institutions that solicit contributions in or from this state register with the Department of Agriculture. The Florida law governing charity registration is found in Florida Statutes Title XXXVI, Ch. 617.
To register in Florida:
Complete the FDACS-10100 and mail to:

Initial Filing Fee: Sliding scale fee up to $400
Requirements: Governing Documents, IRS Form 990 and Financial Statement
Annual Renewal: Yes
Annual Renewal Fee: Sliding scale fee up to $400
Extension Available: The organization can request an extension on filing its financials, but not on filing the registration form.
Does charitable registration require Corporate Registration: No
Does charitable registration require a Registered Agent: No
Florida offers Educational and Religious Exemptions.
